I am a delighted to be appointed Parent Governor, I look forward to contributing to such a highly regarded and reputable school. I currently have one daughter attending the school and two others who have recently transitioned to secondary school. All my children have received fantastic support from every member of the teaching and support staff, and I welcome the opportunity to become involved in the school.
I have been a member of governing bodies within the education sector for 10 years, more latterly 8 years in a locally authority maintained primary school. I am passionate about education and want the best for every child, every child matters – their time at school is crucial if they are to realise their potential and develop key social and life skills.
I have an in-depth HR and business background, I hope to be able to use some of these skills along with my experience of being a governor to help support the school. My interests are varied and include health and well being, swimming and spending time with my 3 children. I look forward to contributing my time, energy and professional skills to this role, in support of our school’s ongoing standing and success.
