With immense pride, I introduce myself as Mrs. Kelly Foxton, the Headteacher of this remarkable school. With 19 years of experience in education, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to this role. My journey has led me through the halls of five different schools across two local authorities, granting me invaluable insights into the diverse needs of our pupils.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with all year groups, and I can honestly say that I couldn’t possibly choose a favourite. Each age group brings its own unique magic and growth.
My path in education has included many leadership roles, including English Lead, Special Educational Needs Coordinator, Phase Leader, and Deputy Headteacher. These roles have allowed me to hone my skills and contribute to shaping well-rounded educational experiences for our children.
Leading Pocklington Junior School is not just an privilege – it’s a cherished connection to my own community. The children and staff here are nothing short of amazing, and their dedication makes every day a rewarding one. Together, we create an environment where children feel valued, supported, and eager to explore.
